this bruise is magnanimous
not letting one part of the whole
miss the resonance building
like an inhale windes
flushing a nurishment of a chemical kind
turning seconds into infinity
a thousand memories
porous for this scent
infused through you
in you

there are outlines to your figure
sharp from eight feet away
six feet high
I stand
to see you from behind
this bruise is made shameful
for all that holds this weight
is but a notion you easily dismiss
indifference the dialogue we now hold
between almond eyes
and your broad shrug
I already begin to see beyond you
but find it a strain on my brown
as your shadow looms
as if penance my eyes squeeze
the last bit of light
the lingering cherub
coloring rose my cheeks
